Lorne Sculpture Exhibition 

March 17th 2018 - 2nd April 2018 

The Lorne Sculpture Biennale exhibition is the largest free public outdoor sculpture event.

This years Theme is 'Landfall' with the Best Australian and international astists transforming the Lorne foreshore. The Trail leads you on a 4km treak along the foreshore with 41 artists showcasing their art through amazing sculptures.

Lorne Easter Market 

Saturday 31st March 2018 

Family focused Market on the Lorne foreshore. 8am - 4pm, Food, stalls, kids activities. 

 

Live Wire Lorne 

Live Wire is now open in Lorne. Come and experience a high energy tree top adventure for all ages and abilities. 

Enjoy Walking the tree tops or Zip through the trees on the 'shockwave zip coaster'. Challenge your mind and physical ability with amongst the gaints of the Otway Ranges.  

 

Apollo Bay Community Markets

Each Saturday @ 9am - 1pm

Are you after some unique gifts, homewares, art and lots more on your travels? All items at the Apollo Bay Community Markets are locally made, baked, grown, sewn, sculpted, painted, carved, created

They are held each Saturday on the Apollo Bay foreshore, on the Great Ocean Road, between the Apollo Bay Surf Life Saving Club and the Tourist Information Centre.

 

Kids Outdoor adventures in Anglsea 

Saturday and Sunday, April 7th - 8th 2018 

It provides children (and parents) with the opportunity to experience active adventures specifically designed for the younger generation with rides, runs, surfing, SUPing, fishing, giant swing, skate boarding, obstacle and high ropes courses, climbs, paddles, camping out and plenty more wild play planned for the all-new weekend event.

   The idea of the event is to get kids outdoors and give them a taste of a range of outdoor activities in a natural environment. Along the way the children learn some new skills, get more comfortable in the bush and set themselves up for a life-long love of nature.

Kids Adventure Outdoors (KAOS) is based in Anglesea, located on Victoria's Surf Coast, only 90 minute's drive from Melbourne, and is run by the local community and hosted by a number of outdoor camps and outdoor operators.

2018 Great Ocean Road Marathon

May 19th & 20th 2018 

Australia's iconic Great Ocean Road is home to one of the world's most visually spectacular runs, the Great Ocean Road Marathon. 

Challenge yourself across a range of distances, from one and a half kilometres through to 45 kilometres with panoramic views of the Southern Ocean and national forest. This challenging run will surely attract participants from across Australia and around the world to take part. 

The Great Ocean Road is renowned throughout the world for its natural beauty. Taking part in this event offers you the opportunity to experience the Great Ocean Road like never before, pounding the road without a car in sight, taking in the fresh ocean air, the breathtaking views and if you are lucky, possibly even a koala or two. 

The surrounding townships also offer an abundance of accommodation and activities so you will be assured an enjoyable stay once you have crossed the finish line on Race Day.
